LEAF HOUND Formed in Sahf West London in 1970, and led by original singer Peter French, Their first release "Growers Of Mushroom" a major influence on practically every stoner, doom and desert rock band in existence! French reformed the band with several new lineups, to much acclaim: since then, they've toured as a headliner in their own right, They released "Unleashed" [2007] and "Live In Japan" [2012] and are now about to unveil the FOURTH album in over five decadesBeing their first Central London gig since their appearances both here and at the Garage in 2015, this is one not to miss HEAVY METAL KIDS Also begotten in Sahf West Lahndahn, in 1972, and featuring the incredible drumming talents of Keith Boycethis raggle-taggle gang of hard-arsed street urchins, named after an androgynous gang in a Burroughs novel waaay before the genre "heavy metal" was ever officially called that, are one of THE true legends of dirty British rock n rollOriginally fronted by the late actor/singer Gary Holton their tough, Stonesy sound - equally influenced by The Who, Kinks, Small Faces and Pretty Things - is a vital part of the same "proto-sleaze" lineage that includes Mott The Hoople, the New York Dolls, The Dead Boys, Hanoi RocksThough Gary himself passed 35 years ago, the band- still led by Boyce and guitarist Cosmo, who joined on 1974's Anvil Chorus - are STILL gigging, with several guest frontmen swelling the ranks until Simon Gordon joined in 2021
